@ErwanLeCorre Yes, but the mind starts to self organize and rewire to align with the newly embodied intelligence. Over time, it takes a back seat role instead of the driver.
My "goal" now is to further surrender my mind, embody higher consciousness. Devotion to this higher will/intelligence
@ErwanLeCorre Nothing wrong with any of that.
But for me, I realized my mind was never happy with achieving anything I accomplished. It always wanted more. That control kept me disembodied, dissociated...living in the mind.
@ErwanLeCorre Happy to hop on a zoom with you to discuss.
It's about being, allowing.
Relaxing into the felt/sense. Allowing the real you (aka consciousness) to witness, feel, sense into everything that is arising...without "you" (the human) getting in the way.
@ErwanLeCorre "Goal" is for the mind. It's attachment to outcome.
Not sure meditation has a goal. Maybe modern meditation sells that.
Embodiment is what brings back all the parts of us back online. Cultivates life force. Everything I've been mentioning.
@ErwanLeCorre They are either still in their mind (wishing it away, resisting it, or trying to feel something better). Not fully merging with it.
Or there can often be an attachment they have.
Attached to being right. Attached to an outcome, etc. Which is of course, of the mind.
@ErwanLeCorre Agreed :) Only coping if emotion is arising.
Meditation cultivates awareness.
The next dimension is to merge with the intelligence that is arising.
@ErwanLeCorre THIS is the question. Everyone tries to force mental hacks and limiting belief work. No.
The higher intelligence of the suppressed emotion (energy) contains the higher consciousness that will allow you to see the pattern with clarity. Once fully felt, seen, sensed. Then epiphany.
@ErwanLeCorre In that instance, it's coping. "Calming down" is most of the time a cope. Nothing wrong with that. But best to fully feel and relax into the agitation. There is intelligence in that energy...don't want to calm it away.
@ErwanLeCorre Obviously "meditation" can mean 1000 different things these days. But yes, if the meditation is to fully feel and allow what is arising "now" then yes. Best to do laying down and releasing tension. If it is guided or focusing on a mantra/breath then no.
@ErwanLeCorre The mind prevents. It "protects" from uncomfortable suppression within.
It works for those fully devoted to meeting themselves and surrendering their mind.
It will work, just a question of how much is in there that's suppressed & unfelt.
If doesn't work, there's more in there.
@ErwanLeCorre YES!
I had panic, anxiety for many years. Tried all the mental stuff (meditation, breathwork, hypnosis, affirmations, supplements, reframes, etc.) never went away.
Then I learned it was emotional root and leaned into all of those uncomfortable feelings. Merged with it.
GONE!
@ErwanLeCorre Often it is coping. When emotions (energy) arise within someone and they try to focus on their breath instead...it is bypassing the "now" feeling. Coping.
Fully feeling/alowing the energy arising and relaxing into it is what alchemizes anxiety, etc.
It's an emotional root issue.
