I frequently ask Claude to pull in entire past codex or Claude code chats and MemoryPlugin enables that. This is also where not storing tool outputs makes the chat history easy for new agents to read.

The important details are in the prose, the back and forth between you and the agent. The part that cannot be reconstructed from repo access and git history.
