Jordan’s presentation (“It Is Done to Men: Understanding and Providing Support to Men Who Experience Sexual Harm”) is 1 of 5 trainings MenHealing staff will conduct this month—all of which are rooted in broadening awareness and support for male survivors & their loved ones.
As one of the only nonprofits in the country dedicated to healing male survivors & their loved ones, we ask that you help us spread awareness and raise $50K during our month-long campaign “No One Heals Alone.”

Men wait an average of 20 years to tell anyone about their abuse.
Severe anxiety, depression, anger, self-harm, panic attacks, intimate partner violence, and suicidal thoughts are common effects of sexual trauma.
That’s why MenHealing was founded.
Our weekend retreats and peer-led support groups equip male survivors with the nervous system regulation tools, community, and self-compassion required to break the cycle of trauma.
All month long we’re sharing survivor-centered content, and ways you can join the movement to end sexual harm, during our campaign “No One Heals Alone.”

April 1st marks the start of #SexualAssaultAwarenessMonth. The CDC estimates that more than 43 million men in the U.S. alone have experienced contact sexual violence at some point in their lifetime.
Yet because of social stigmas about masculinity, most of these men suffer in silence, with nowhere to turn for help.
MenHealing is dedicated to changing that. We believe every survivor deserves access to healing resources and a supportive network. 💙💚

Did you know? One of the myths #malesurvivors face is that their abuser *must have been male* for sexual abuse to count, or even be possible.
Understanding the truth is critical to addressing & healing the trauma male survivors experience.
