I don’t think the national media is grasping the level of devastation in FL, GA, SC, NC, TN, and VA. Whole towns have been washed away. Asheville is cut off from the outside world. 1.3 million people in SC are still without power. It’s really bad.
Tried to wait it out but my daughter said NOT TODAY SATAN. She sent me over to the @GraduateHotels@Graduate_Hotels so I could get a good nights sleep tonight. No update @domenergysc on when my power would be restored. Grateful to @HiltonHotels for a flawless check in process ❤️
All my groceries are spoiled. I need @domenergysc to credit all the customers for the past two days and replace all the groceries that are currently rotting because we STILL don’t have power #columbiasc
What’s confusing about this mess is that the storm wasn’t that bad but the aftermath is catastrophic. I hesitate to think how @domenergysc would handle the situation if the storm was much worse #columbiasc
The historic College Place Community, which is mostly elderly African Americans, has been sitting in the dark for days. A neighbor said she lost her entire insulin supply. Some folks BBQ food instead of letting it spoil. And we could barely afford to make it before 😩@domenergysc
Another day and no power in sight. It’s chaos in North Columbia, SC. Streets blocked off, trees downed, and @domenergysc is no where to be found and doesn’t have any answers. #columbiasc
Then when she tried to cancel the reservation @Marriott refused to honor in the first place, @Marriott wanted to charge her anyway! And she has loyalty with them which apparently means NOTHING 🙄 2/2
.@Marriott really put me through it today. Half the city lost power with no end in sight & my daughter booked me in the Fairfield Inn & they refused to let me check in. She even called the @Marriott corporate office and they still wouldn’t honor it. 1/2
