(2/3) Since the start of our work, we have seen an increase in mentoring grant applications since the start of our commission, & we thank those who have worked with @NevadaReady to make our work a reality.

Our grants only showcase the need of supporting our students in Nevada.

(4/4) @KarlCatarata: Nearly 82% of students, faculty, and staff support this change. The name change only positively expands @NevadaState's work to support our mentors and mentees across #NV.
I urge @NSHE Regents, as they sit in the Tyrone Thompson Student Union, to support it.

(2/4) @KarlCatarata: Our commission was created by the late, great Assemblyman @TyroneThompson.

Before he passed, Assem. Thompson was a steadfast supporter of Nevada State and did everything in his power to expand @NevadaState in our Southern Nevada community.
