CDJ3000 & Traktor:
Pitch a track up from 150 to 155. Load the next track, which has a BPM of 155 and it starts 155. You have to move the fader back to position to change BPM.
I'm learning that there's such a wild difference in terms of behavior between XDJ and CDJ series, sorting chief among them. I know in programming, without an order by clause, sorting order isn't guaranteed, but c'mon! Why are CDJ3000 and RB6/7 similar by not the XDJ?
XDJ AZ:
You pitch the track on deck 1, up from 150 to 155 (+5 bpm).
You load the next track on to deck 1, which has a bpm of 155, it then pitches it up +5 pushing it to 160 off the bat.
@Ririsya_music Hawaii via ZipAir can be affordable. Pretty similar to Okinawa in terms of climate and a significant Japanese speaking population. However, food costs are remarkably expensive for the same reason.
Sacramento, LA, and San Francisco also has a notably large JP population.
I learned a lot about myself this past month and also felt like I improved on my mixing. Taking a break for a bit as per usual of doing several rush projects this month.
