New research shows that e-bikes reduce car usage by 19%, significantly reduce car trips of less than three miles and enhance autonomy for seniors and the elderly.

Cities need to be doing more to help people shift trips from cars to (e-)bikes, including e-bike incentive programs.

@portsmouthnews Such a travesty. It would be great if the safety of all road users could be taken seriously rather than accepting the deaths of vulnerable road users, day on day, as part of the cost of motoring. My heart goes out to the family devastated by the loss of their loved one.

@PompeyBike @portsmouthtoday I took part in the round the harbours event. On the same day major routes through Portsmouth were closed due to the fire at Tipner. Cue lots of impatient drivers performing very poor passes on charity cyclists. It is a more difficult road caused by inconsiderate drivers.
