I’m close with several people in the Korean industry who are directly connected to BLACKPINK, so I have a fairly clear picture of what happened behind the scenes.

I know turning this into a member-vs-member issue only hurts BLINKs, but when something is simply untrue, it needs to be corrected.

I can say this with confidence: Jisoo and Rosé were the first members to put the fan meeting on the table and commit to making it happen. I’m not going to reveal who wanted to do what, or who didn’t. But the scheduling difficulties were not simply YG’s fault.

Yes, there have been conflicts with YG. That much is true. But according to people directly involved, those conflicts had very little to do with the 10th-anniversary plans.

The person who first insisted that they absolutely had to do something for the 10th anniversary was Jisoo—the same person I defended before.

And honestly, after watching the live, wasn’t it obvious who was taking the lead and who looked extremely uncomfortable being there?

Seeing people once again twist the situation into another excuse to target Jisoo is exactly why I’m saying this. As a Korean who knows people close to the situation, I’m not going to stay silent when something is plainly untrue.

JISOO did NOT change her Salomon event schedule at the last minute. The event was originally scheduled for August 8, but JISOO requested to have it postponed and rescheduled due to the BLACKPINK Anniversary.

And mind you, JISOO had already marked 08.08.26 on her https://t.co/OoaT5tCPD3 calendar as the BLACKPINK Anniversary since December 2025.
