HOW TO BECOME AN ‘INSTITUTION’.
Yesterday, we celebrated 33 years of marriage. I was as excited as if it were our first wedding anniversary. Why? It feels fresh and new.
I love to encourage couples, and especially men. A good marriage can help you become an institution, and I have intentionally built that part of my life with love, patience, forgiveness, hard work, and being a responsible man. I can beat my chest that I have always looked after my wife. This is coming from a man who a single parent raised.
Once your marriage is stable, your life will be stable. In my 33 years as a married man, let me give you this simple advice: Find a way to love that woman in your house. Do not underrate their ability to frustrate you. No matter how anointed, educated, intelligent, and wealthy you are, an unhappy wife can frustrate your destiny.
Does it mean you will not have challenges in your relationship? I didn’t say that. We all have challenges, but we find a way to overcome them.
Also, make up your mind to be a provider and a self-sufficient man in terms of resources. Do not be a man who always looks to his wife to meet his marital financial obligations. It can happen initially, but do not make it a lifetime habit. I hated queuing up to my wife or anyone to meet my financial obligations. It was degrading and dehumanizing.
I know many influential people worldwide, but have never waited for anyone to meet my financial obligations. I have never been a parasite.
I have been a pastor for almost 23 years, but never looked up to any church member to meet my financial obligations. I have also not looked up to the church. They cannot meet my financial commitments, so I work. I live how I want to live from my resources. That is very important.
Aim for independence so no man or woman can hold you to ransom. God has helped me in that aspect, and He will help you, too.
My relationship with my ‘friends’ is to see us succeed and do well. I spend more time encouraging and supporting those I relate to than looking for money from them.
That is how to become an ‘institution’. Do not be a parasite to your wife, organization, family, and friends.
Also, I am content. You may have one million houses, but it does not move me. I do not live in your home, so you can’t harass me.
Aim for financial independence. Do something meaningful with your life. Be creative. Know how to make money. Add value and become a blessing to your generation.
Remember, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. I see you rise. I hope I have encouraged you.

One major thing I have discovered in marriage is that if a couple genuinely loves each other, they will always find a way to resolve their differences.
Many couples don’t love each other. They marry for convenience, needs, or just to be married in the eyes of the people. A little challenge and the relationship is over.
This Sunday, June 8th, will mark 33 years since I married Bimbo, and I can say that I truly love my wife. Do you truly love the person you are with?
There is nothing that inspire people like someone telling his life stories that is authentic, genuine and verifiable.
I have used my bad experience with the UK Immigration Authorities to change a lot of lives.
Your bad experience can become a good testimony.
@DavidHundeyin My father said if you are able to say no to money and women whenever you want to, you've conquered the world!
It's a big deal cos only 95% can stand on this business!
This is an encounter between the former Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Osinbajo was vice president for 8 years, and President Tinubu bowed for him at a meeting despite being the one who helped him become vice President. Today, the one who bowed is the one ruling Nigeria as president. Let us all learn humility and also know that power is transient. Do not rule anyone out. Respect and honor everyone. Tomorrow is a mystery.
Don’t let your mistakes mar or ruin you. Many great men get better after their mistakes.
No matter how careful you are, you will make mistakes at some point. Get up and stand up. End! #deleolawanlesnuggets
BE MORE MATURE THIS YEAR.
Be careful when someone has been of great help to you in the past. Do not try to bad-mouth them, lie against them, or destroy them when the going is no longer good. It is childish.
You may try it, but God will not permit it. Why? Study the Bible very well. When you plan evil for men and women, it usually turns to their good. You will be left with eggs on your face. Turn that bitterness in you to love, and your star will shine brighter.
Matured people have conflicts, challenges, and disagreements. It is not the end of their relationship. They manage it well. Nations do have disputes, and they do find ways to resolve them.
In life, always remember that there are no permanent friends or permanent enemies, but they can still greatly help you or your children in the future.
I have been through a lot in this life and experienced horrible treatments. My focus has always been my destination. I am ready to take the rubbish from men and women as long as it will take me to the top.
I have dealt with difficult masters, employers, pastors, difficult and ungrateful church members, difficult and ungrateful clients, and difficult friends, but I don’t fight them. I pray for them and exercise maturity. Some of them don’t know what they are doing.
My biological children, who have been in church all their lives, sat me down one day and listed some former church members who betrayed me. They knew what I did for those church members to improve their lives. They knew how I abandoned my own family to support those people. They knew I paid some of them their university fees. They knew that I accommodated some. They knew I employed some of them. They know I invested a lot of money. Sometimes, I paid their school fees and told my children to wait till later. Sometimes, the schools threatened to throw my children out of school because I decided to help some church members.
They said, “Dad, what would you do if you met them anywhere?” I said I would hug them, and they were surprised.
I have seen a lot in life, and I know that those who repay good with evil, evil will not depart from their lives. It may look like they have gotten away with their evil acts, but they will reap what they sowed.
I studied my late mother. She may argue and fight, but she will get over it quickly. I studied my late spiritual father; he was always quick to forgive. He said you cannot walk in bitterness and carry the Holy Spirit. I have studied a Nigerian politician closely that no matter how much you abused him, he will hardly talk but will find a way to win you back. Being silent is not foolishness. It is the highest form of wisdom.
Do you want to grow and reach loftier heights in life? Stop being childish by fighting to the death. Be matured. End!
