Happy Thanksgiving! We are so thankful for the support of our community! This holiday is a reminder of the importance of food, and we are grateful to be able to help fill the tables of our seniors! Thank you to our amazing volunteers and donors who help make what we do possible!
Next week is #GivingTuesday!
Monetary donations enable Brown Bag to support our staff of ten, who work to distribute fresh, free groceries to over 8000 seniors in Alameda County.
Keep Brown Bag seniors in your heart, thank you for your support!

We received an entire pallet of whole roasted almonds from our partners at the Alameda County Community Food Bank @ACCFB - how amazing! Healthy proteins are so important for older adult health!
We are mourning our beloved longtime volunteer, Hope, who recently passed away at age 100. For over 30 years she came weekly or twice weekly to make sure all the produce in our warehouse was ready to be taken to the distribution sites.
Thanks to the Senior Services Coalition of Alameda County for conducting this important survey! Help us make sure that all of your loved older adults have their voices heard!
