کنفرانس امنیتی مونیخ برای دومین بار در دو هفته گذشته، به دستور دولت آلمان و تحت تهدید رژیم جمهوری اسلامی، دعوت خود از من را برای شرکت در این کنفرانس پس گرفت. این نشان می‌دهد که خامنه‌ای برای برلین تصمیم می‌گیرد.

این یک خیانت به مردم ایران و ارزش‌های دموکراتیک آلمان است. دولت آلمان نه تنها صدای ملت ایران را خاموش کرده، بلکه فعالانه خواسته‌های جمهوری اسلامی را اجرا کرده است.

به جای پشتیبانی از کسانی که برای آزادی مبارزه می‌کنند، آلمان ترجیح داده است یک رژیم دیکتاتوری را راضی نگه دارد؛ رژیمی که شهروندان خود را می‌��شد، اروپایی‌ها را گروگان می‌گیرد، و از تروریسم حمایت می‌کند.

در حالی که وزارت امور خارجه آلمان ادعا کرده بود که دخالتی در تصمیمات کنفرانس امنیتی مونیخ نداشته، بیانیه اخیر کنفرانس امنیتی نشان می‌دهد که این ادعا دروغ بوده است؛ دروغی که آنها مکررا به مردم آلمان و به رسانه‌های آلمان گفتند.

درماندگی رژیم در جلوگیری از حضور من در کنفرانس مونیخ، نشان‌دهنده ضعف آن است، تا جایی که اکنون برلین به نیابت از آنها به سانسور مشغول است.

اما مردم ایران مقاوم و قدرتمند هستند. آن‌ها به یاد خواهند داشت که چه کسانی با سرکوب‌گران‌شان هم‌دست شدند. با وجود رفتار تزویرآمیز آلمان، ایران آزاد خواهد شد.

In Berlin, a decision has been made to sideline and silence the Iranian people and to appease the Islamic Republic.

At this important moment of change in Iran, I was pleased to be invited to take part in this year’s @MunSecConf. However, my participation in this conference has been blocked by @GermanyDiplo.

The German Foreign Ministry’s intervention to block my participation places Germany on the wrong side of history.

So while the German government caves to the Islamic Republic, I urge the German people to stand with Iranians fighting for human rights and democracy— not only for Iranians’ sake, but for their own.

Along with my compatriots, I will continue my campaign to free Iran, and with it the world, from the terror of a regime that has been allowed to hold humanity hostage with its blackmail for far too long.

This decision was not about silencing me. This was about silencing the Iranian people. It was about silencing all those who stand for freedom, justice, and dignity. And that we will not stand for.

Despite attempts to deny the Iranian people a voice at this conference, I will nonetheless be traveling to Munich. For while we seek friends and allies in foreign capitals, we know our liberation is in our hands and will never be determined by foreign governments.

It is we Iranians who will decide our destiny and we will not cease until we are successful.
