Archie and I were working on a story called “The Impossible Princess” which is not at all the title of a Kylie Minogue album. The story was an isekai about a guy and his girlfriend being gender swapped where she is the scared prince and he’s the brace princess.

There is…but I’m not sure where to find them outside of bookTok. Since videos tend to do the heavy lifting for people who don’t want to read or just don’t have the time/money. And even then, the audience tends to skew more female. I’ve seen indie novelists on here talking about the same thing. They don’t know how to bridge that gap without “plinking.”

I used to be on his message boards trolling but he used to troll back and had a very good sense of humor. He would share industry knowledge and secrets like why Static Shock was cancelled. Ratings were up but no toy sales to sustain longevity.

It just dawned on me this morning that finding comics on a military post is not easy. I think we are missing a decent market. I’m in Washington and I have to go out of my way to buy comics. If I was the acquisitions manager at AAFES, I’d try to negotiate atleast some Captain America and Punisher OGNs.
