Iran’s Foreign Minister @araghchi rejected requests from @SteveWitkoff to speak on behalf of Donald Trump, who is seeking to bring the war to an end.

Following Tehran’s refusal, the US envoy reportedly contacted Egypt’s Foreign Minister and asked Cairo to mediate with Iran.

Tehran’s position remains firm: it is not interested in negotiations at this stage. The message conveyed is clear: the United States should first announce a ceasefire unilaterally, and only then will Iran decide how to respond.
