@rojograham @RevRichardColes Both sides of a semi-colon should stand alone as sentences; it’s a way of joining them without a conjunction (so no and or but). The Rev’s colon was impeccable 😉.

@MartinSLewis Mum says Aviva were really good on the phone (we won’t talk about why she needed to call 😳first thing they asked - was I ok? 🥰). Sadly their house insurance no longer covers damage by me so she had to switch, but grand for those without a dog/separate liability cover.
