#Kinshasa: La Task Force présidentielle d'assainissement est intervenue ce lundi dès 4h du matin à l'immeuble Flamboyant (Gombe), dont la fosse septique hors service depuis des mois déversait eaux usées et autres matières dans le caniveau de l'avenue. Les résidents de cet immeuble du ministère de l'Urbanisme et Habitat ont été mobilisés de force pour les travaux de nettoyage.

#RDC : le ministre Banza Lunda lance le second acte de sa « caravane infrastructurelle » pour désenclaver le corridor Banana-Kinshasa

Après un premier périple de près de 2 900 kilomètres à travers l'Ouest, le Centre et le Sud-Est du pays jusqu'à Sakania, le ministre des Infrastructures et Travaux Publics, John Banza Lunda, a lancé depuis Muanda, au Kongo-Central, l'Acte 2 de sa « Caravane infrastructurelle », consacré à l'axe stratégique Muanda-Kinshasa. Le ministre a annoncé qu'une fois Banana reliée à Kinshasa, l'ensemble du corridor Banana-Sakania, long de 3 300 kilomètres, sera opérationnel d'ici un an et demi.

Le chantier prioritaire de cette phase, la route Muanda-Yema en 2x2 voies, doit connecter la ville au futur port en eaux profondes de Banana tout en l'ouvrant vers les ports angolais de Cabinda et congolais de Pointe-Noire.

Selon le Directeur général de l'Agence Congolaise des Grands Travaux, Nico Nzau Nzau, ce chantier n'est toutefois exécuté qu'à 60 %, freiné notamment par l'enchevêtrement de réseaux existants et l'érosion côtière, le ministre ayant convoqué un arbitrage gouvernemental pour lever ces blocages d'ici fin septembre, afin de tenir le délai de livraison de la première phase du port de Banana, prévue en mars 2027.

Paul summarized his apostolic resumé by detailing his scars, not by spotlighting his successes.

Jesus had said of this former persecutor, “I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name” (Acts 9:16). And he meant it.

For instance, to the Corinthians, Paul says he was “afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies” (2 Cor. 4:8-10).

Psalm 116 reads like the counterpart to Paul’s words. The poet was brought low, but God saved him (116:6). He was in danger of stumbling into death, but the Lord delivered him to walk in the land of the living (116:6-9).

In the face of great affliction, he nevertheless remained a faithful confessor, “I believed, even when I spoke: ‘I am greatly afflicted’” (116:10).

Paul resonated so much with these words that he quoted them after he detailed his sufferings to the Corinthians, “Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, ‘I believed, and so I spoke,’ we also believe, and so we also speak, knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence” (2 Cor. 4:13-14).

No matter how loud our current sufferings, the laughter of the coming resurrection drowns them out.

So neither Paul nor we “lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal” (2 Cor. 4:16-18).

Chief among those “unseen things” is our resurrected Lord, who will one day welcome us home.
