@tgutierrez94580 And the actual ticking clock requires some useful information. Big boss saying "You have two weeks to submit, or I invade." Or a spy indicating the enemy army is building up, so you have 2 weeks until it is ready.

...but CRPGs share a lot of DNA with D&D, so I understand entirely why the term sticks.

In the computer space, I don't think anyone quite agrees what an RPG is. Whenever I see a definition, it is generally employed to say this game is NOT a CRPG.

Ergo, there are no computer RPGs.
