The most important detail of Chhatrapati Shivaji's Maharaja is the fact he was the first king to abolish slavery in the world in the year 1645. The Marathas even rescued African slaves from Mozambique who were captured by the Portuguese Empire.

So Ratnu's propaganda of a stiff Rajput resistance in North India protected South India giving Shivaji a chance to rise is false. Shivaji did it by himself

Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj happened in 17th Century , Kachchawas were fighting Muslamans up North from at least 12th century onwards .

It was the Rajputs that halted the frontline of Islam at the Northern borders . If North would have been Islamised , Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s rise looks like an impossibility .

Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj stopped Islam in his own way and nobody can argue against that , but the fortitude and Sankalpa of the Kachchawas is something no one knows about.

The due respect and gratitude to our Kachchawa forefathers must be given.

Shivaji Maharaja had to fight not only the Mughals but also the Bijapur and Golconda Sultans. Notion that Rajputs successfully fought off the invaders till Shivaji came, is over exaggeration.

Well , the first one to align with Mughals was Raja Bharmal , grandfather of Man Singh .
Bharmal’s father , Prithviraj Kachchawa fought along side Maharana Sanga in the battle of Khanwa and saved Sanga’s life .

Prithviraj was poisoned by agents of Babur after Khanwa .

Sanga was similarly poisoned by Babur in 1528 . With Sanga’s murder, Rajput confederation splintered with each to his own .

Jaipur did not have Aravallis like Mewar to protect it from Muslims , besides the proximity to Delhi , making Jaipur vulnerable .

Man Singh ji inherited the Mughal Rajput alliance , didn’t arrange it . He was a staunch Hindu and why Hindu Samaj should respect him , I have detailed it in my book . Please read it .

The bottom line for me is this -

The great Kachchawa Rajputs fought Islamic invaders as long as they could . Aligned with them , when it wasn’t possible to fight , but never converted to Islam .

It was the anchoring of Kachchawas to Hindu Dharma that saved Jaipur and Rajasthan itself from being Islamised .

If Kachchawas had converted , there was no way Bharat could have remained Hindu .

He comes from a family who sided with the British during the Indian revolt of 1857, helping to suppress it.

In 2018, he left INC with few MLAs to topple INC govt and joined BJP so that he can become CM.

In 2023, BJP won elections in MP and it was speculated that Scindia will be made new CM.

But BJP showed Scindia his real place and made Mohan Yadav as MP’s CM who is much junior to Scindia.

This teaches us not to be greedy for money and power as it will make you insignificant in long run.
