@Sokokopuffs For most of my life, I would have vivid and reoccurring nightmares. I don't know where they came from, but eventually I completely lost my ability to retain dreams.

Difficult question, it can't completely betray our idea of how a cape should act. In concept, cape 100%; but there's a probably a reason why we don't see too many capes in fighting games, even in ones with the fidelity to do so.
