Puntland is making history in leading the way to universal suffrage elections. Any sane Somali person that wants a prosperous, democratic and peaceful Somalia will support the returning of power to the people from the select few. Political mandate from the ppl is the pillars of good governance.

@TheVillaSomalia is fighting this progress because they somehow want to return via indirect elections. The first action of @HassanSMohamud was to disband the electoral commission he constituted in 2015 and was sustained in place by #NN because of their gained training and capacity in matters 1p1v elections. This made it clear that HSM wasn’t going for universal suffrage elections hence their reaction to the Puntland universal suffrage elections.
