My screenwriting professor senior year showed up late to class with coffee and told us to take a walk in the snow outside and "get inspired" and then meet him at the library to share our new screenplay ideas and as a new teacher myself I just really vibe with that.
i think we don’t talk enough about how the phrase “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” was originally used to call something out as being completely fucking impossible to do by yourself
Two weeks ago you could’ve been woken up at 2am & taken to quarantine if your swab was in a test tube w/ another pos+ case. Since Monday, 25% of our students & staff have gotten COVID. We’re entering a stage the rest of the world hit 2.5 years ago. The policy whiplash is insane.

We have just finished our first full week of at-school in-person classes since the start of the school year and I am, in Millenial parlance, "Le Tired."
Enneagram check! Type “I’m an Enneagram [number] and I” and let your phone fill in the rest.
“I’m an Enneagram four and I have no idea how much to take care of myself.”
Marilyn Manson, Harry Potter books, renting Dirty Dancing when Netflix still delivered DVDs in the mail. Most of my sneaking was staying in internet chat rooms with strangers past "curfew." Internet shut off at 10pm but wouldn't kick me out of chat sessions I was already in.
I created a second account years ago for content related to a kpop boyband that I love (y'all know the one) and I don't always notice when I accidentally RT something to this account instead, but I think I need to figure out why I feel so mortified each time it happens.
Me: *looks up from Chinese homework*

The Coldplay song that goes “trying hard to speak and fighting with my weak hand driven to distraction s’all part of the plan when something is broken and you’re trying to fix it trying to repair it anyway you can ooOoOooOoOoOoooooO”
