DPM/FM @SihasakPh accompanied PM to attend the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit in Kazan, to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of ASEAN-Russia Dialogue Relations. The Summit was held at the invitation of H.E. Mr. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation to advance the ASEAN-Russia Strategic Partnership. Thailand reinforced multilateralism based on int’l law, and the ASEAN-centred regional architecture, and highlighted the importance of strengthening connectivity in logistics. Thailand sees strong potential for coop. in enhancing fertilizer supply chains, advancing agri innovation, and building food system resilience. Both agreed to advance CSP to respond to global challenges, especially in the areas of economy, security, people-to-people exchanges, and high-level exchanges, ahead of the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2027.
