@masi_zachary@SIR_ECS@bachakzaimd@sarelgaurmd@joeirad Classic fissural chest tube. Love these cases. Fluoro guidance? How do you like APDL vs dawson mueller for your PTX chest tubes? And how do you decide your sizing? I usually do anterior approach 8.5 Fr dawson mueller
@brianchiong Thoughts on using a flow switch on your micropuncture sheath and around your IJ wire when creating your tunnel for tunneled central venous access? I had never seen it done residency and fellowship but a few people in my new group use it regularly.
@ShofnerWhitney My sheath flip technique: Replace sheath with a reverse curve catheter and pull back until glidewire selects opposite limb of graft, advance wire to straighten catheter, remove catheter and put your sheath back over the wire. (Don’t mind my hands in the field 😆)
@AlbanyIR@SIRRFS@SIR_ECS@JVIRmedia@ncdoro@gsiskin Transhepatic and transjugular approaches were discussed. Given the malignant cause for the stenosis it was thought that the TIPS would better preserve access to the stent should further intervention be necessary.
