This morning. #Rwanda🇷🇼, #Cameroon🇨🇲, and #Gabon🇬🇦 national teams joined the Minister of Sports @nmukazayire, delegations and the community for Kigali’s Car Free Day sports activities.
As we count down to the Men’s Senior Africa Cup of Nations in Handball, taking place in Kigali from 21–31 January 2026, this initiative highlights the power of sport in promoting healthy living, solidarity, and continental friendship beyond competition.

Rwanda’s #KBR2026 marks the conclusion of the Baton’s journey across Africa. The Baton will continue to Asia, as the Relay travels through all 74 Commonwealth nations ahead of #Glasgow2026, a true celebration of unity, diversity, and the shared values of the Commonwealth.
🏀 Hon. Prudence Sebahizi, Minister of Trade and Industry, reflected on his own sports background and the match that had just concluded, urging the youth to remain disciplined, persistent, and to never give up in pursuit of their dreams.
