@bigfootballscot I did my referee training during covid under Craig Napier, and he was great. But the pool of people getting trained was pitiful. It needs to start with parents and coaches not abusing refs at grassroots/Junior levels. We need to make kids want to be refs if we want good refs.

@bigfootballscot Making refereeing in Scotland better is a long process that needs to start with making it a desirable thing to do. Look at it like a national team selection. If you have more referees to pick from, there's more chance that some of those referees will be good.

@FootballCliches @CDEccleshare @D_C_W Sorry, but you're way off about pitch sizes. Width can vary from 50 to 100m and 30m variation in length. So, the smallest pitch is 45x90m (4050 sq m) and largest is 90x120m (10800 sq m), which is 166.7% bigger by area. Only caveat is it can't be square, so 90x90m is out.

@bigfootballscot Steve's cheese has slid of its cracker. Celtic haven't had a good transfer window since 2022. Very few players signed since are regular starters. Maybe Schmeichel is the only one. The rest are gone or benched.
