A lot of what we see in the church is childish, not childlike.

You’re too young to be rushing things but you’re too old to be wasting time.

Cool story. In 2018, our church went through a terrible church fire. I lost my entire library and all of my preaching Bibles except one that I had at home. It was such a tough time for me personally because of the personal loss but also watching our church go through that tough time as well. One day not long after the fire, I was at the church and a UPS guy knocked on our door and said he had a big delivery of boxes for the Pastor. I was curious as to what these boxes were so I opened a box and began pulling out these books from Dr. Charles Stanley. In one of the books was a letter of encouragement addressed to me from Dr. Stanley. He said he had heard of the church fire and that I had lost my entire library. He wanted to send me all of his books and express his love. I will never forget that act of kindness from such a great man.

We need more pastors. We need more church planters. We need more missionaries. We need more youth & college pastors. We need more worship pastors. We need more ministry leaders. Now is the time to get back to calling out the called and discipling future ministry leaders.
