Since it’s Bears Packers week again and we’re suddenly all talking about Soldier Field … here’s my fav soldier field story- the time @caseykahler climbed onto the scoreboard DURING an actual Bears packers game
After his ACL surgery today, Austin will attack his rehab like he does everything - with a toughness and positive attitude that make us proud to be his parents.
Austin Flinn made himself into a hard nosed, high motor DL with little to no help from his father.
He tried out for lacrosse and wrestling when he was told it was too late to be any good at either.
Austin went to his 1st lax practice with zero knowledge of the game - and a year later played every minute as the JV LSM.
He went to his 1st wrestling practice with no shoes or headgear….and announced afterwards: “I got my ass kicked…It was fun!”
We have been lucky to see sacks, TFLs, corner 3s, pins, stick checks, goals and clean sheets.
It has been a lot of fun.
We will miss watching him play.
Through it all Austin Flinn never quit.
Not once.
He was always tough.
He was always a great teammate.
It’s who he is.
Despite this setback, Austin has a great life ahead of him. We are lucky to be a part of it.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out to Austin - there are far too many of you to name.
The support from the Pennsbury community has been amazing.
Special thanks to Coach Snyder, Coach Kealy & Coach Curtis.
The leaders of the football, wrestling and lacrosse programs at PHS are great people who care deeply about their players.
Austin will be back on the sidelines cheering on his fall, winter and spring teammates in no time.
Because that’s who he is…a Falcon for life.
Sincerely,
The Flinn Family

5. My standout of camp so far is Andrei Iosivas.
No surprise to Hilton, who worked out with him in the offseason.
“He’s going to be a big asset to our offense – especially in the slot,” Mike said. “He’s a bigger guy and can obviously run. He’s going to be a big target for us.”
