In 2005, Swedish billionaire Johan Eliasch acquired roughly 400,000 acres of Amazon rainforest in Brazil by purchasing a logging company that controlled the land, and instead of continuing to cut down trees he shut down the companyโs logging operations and focused on protecting the rainforest from further destruction.
The land became part of a larger conservation effort, preserving wildlife habitat and helping protect one of the planetโs most important natural carbon stores, and his actions also drew more attention to the fight against deforestation and the protection of tropical forests.

@kerryjax71@Patriots It's hard to judge who will win this game! I obviously want the Pat's to win. They need to play flawlessly the rest of the way. Fortunately Buffalo doesn't have their "A" game today. Go Patriots!!!
@kerryjax71 This was awful! But on the bright side it's only the third game corrections can be made and proficiency can get better. I'm optimistic! ๐โ๏ธ๐
