My next highlighted game of Day 2 of the @3SSBCircuit Palmetto Road Championship turned into the biggest comeback attempt of the weekend as Wildcat Select 17U squared off with K-Low Elite in a game that had everybody on the edge of their seats until the final horn. Early on it was a chess match with both teams trading punches and feeling each other out, but midway through the first half K-Low Elite caught fire. They found their rhythm on both ends of the floor, made big shots, and raced into the half with a commanding 41-28 halftime lead. That momentum carried into the second half as K-Low stretched the lead to 20 points, and it looked like they were ready to run away with it.

Wildcat Select had other plans. The comeback started with smothering defense, loose balls, hustle plays, and a refusal to quit. Possession after possession they chipped away at the lead, forcing turnovers and turning them into points as the pressure kept building. With every stop the belief grew stronger, and with every bucket the crowd got louder. As the clock kept ticking, K-Low's once comfortable lead kept shrinking until Wildcat found themselves with one last chance down 78-75. That's when #30 @TommyGregg0 stepped into a huge three-pointer that ripped through the net to tie the game and breathe new life into Wildcat Select, sending an unbelievable battle into overtime.

Neither team gave an inch in the extra period as every basket had to be earned and every defensive stop felt massive. The two teams matched each other blow for blow until the scoreboard read 82-82, forcing a second overtime and adding another chapter to an already unforgettable game. In the final minutes it came down to free throws and who could hold their nerve. Wildcat Select split a trip to the line, leaving the door cracked open at 83-82, and K-Low Elite took full advantage by hitting the deciding free throws. Wildcat had one last chance to steal it at the buzzer, but the shot wouldn't fall as K-Low escaped with an incredible 84-83 victory, surviving one of the toughest comeback attempts you'll see all summer.

K-Low Elite was fueled by #3 @ANDRESTEELE2027, who had a game-high 23 points while adding 7 rebounds and a steal. Wildcat Select was led by #33 @Mason_Grivna33, who stuffed the stat sheet with 20 points, 9 rebounds, 6 blocks, 1 assist, and 1 steal while making his presence felt all over the floor. Teammate #1 Jaylen Gunither chipped in 18 points, helping power the furious rally that nearly became one of the biggest comeback wins of the weekend. This one had everything you could ask for, including momentum swings, clutch shots, lockdown defense, double overtime drama, and two teams that refused to back down until the very last possession.
