When playing on the yard a child wondered why she could see grass. We asked the children why? Then we measured the grass patch with the children. It was three children long and two children wide. We will remeasure next time to compare.

Learning about arctic animals, and exploring with pastels we created the northern lights. We then collaboratively wrote a story called Under the Northern Lights.

Follow up from yesterday. We love the den they made for our Grizzly, Black Bears, out of snow and rocks! They put the Polar Bears in the water to swim.
New question came up. How can they swim in freezing cold water? To be continued...
