@SamAWillc Worked on PARRT at Barnet and few shifts with the royal free team, one of the best jobs I ever had, good luck in the new role, it will be great.
Who’s fault is this? The NHS, social care, the public, the government? It does not matter right now, what we need is action, strong leadership and change from all sectors and at all levels.
Working on the medical take this weekend was soul destroying and exhausting….and even worse for the exhausted, stressed and helpless patients stuck in corridors for days.
The whole emergency and medical team were amazing, dedicated, caring and collaborative….but the camels back broke a long time ago and it died of neglect and hunger and it’s bones are now but dust in the desert forgotten and scattered.
Registered nurse (RN) staffing and seniority levels were found to be associated with patient mortality. The lack of association for healthcare support workers & agency nurses indicates they are not effective substitutes for RNs 👇

We could make the NHS better partly by being kinder and more supportive of eachother.
Civility does save lives, and it also retains staff.
The importance of hard work and spreading positivity is honestly one of the most valuable things I have learnt in my OOP so far.
