I got an offer to study at Cambridge.
This girl from a middle class home in Nigeria is good enough for Cambridge.🥹
I might not be resuming because I lack the needed finance.
But I'm choosing to celebrate how far I've come.
Because a moving Dorcas will surely meet her luck.
At the end of the day, it’s just you and your quiet little life. So go on, read the books you enjoy, go outside for a walk or run, drink some good coffee, be the person you want to be. Keep it simple.
1 ounce of gold is $4527
A carat of diamond is $7300
1 barrel of crude oil is $91
I don't know what you are selling that you keep asking people to dm you for the price.
To fall in love with a man I have to be inspired by him — be motivated by his hustle and dedication, admire his humility, adore his compassion, respect the way he sets boundaries, commend his leadership. I want to be in awe of the man he is.
I walked into Medplus one day to buy postpill and water.
Then another man beside me, buying antimalarial and antibiotics.
The man was there before me.
And you know...
After they've given you a drug at the pharmacy, they usually draw a line about how to use the medication:
1----------1
0r
2----2----2
Yes...
The regular thing everyone does is to write on the medication pack.
But then...
The pharmacist peeled a sticker from somewhere around her drawer and pasted it on the medication pack for that man, before writing the "how to" on it.
Sexy sticker.
Well-designed and branded with the MedPlus stuff.
When it was my turn, she just handed me the postpill.
Then I requested...
Won't you write how to use it?
"Sir, it is just one tablet inside, and to be taken once."
But I liked that sticker.
And I own a pharmacy, and would love to be using it.
I don't know the name of the sticker.
And my printingpress guy will never understand, no matter how I explain.
So, I went a mile further:
"Give me Strepsils."
Strepsils = Another product ( that comes in a pack).
And after she gave me, I returned it back to her... to write something on it.
All these, even till I left, I never spilled it out that I am a pharmacist or own a Pharmacy.
But I guess she knew I bought the strepsils because of that beautiful sticker.
She pasted it... Wrote something.
I looked at her... she looked at me.
We both smiled, and I bounced out.
The moral of my story?
Staying innovative is about stealing Ideas.
Move about with all your 5 senses.
And you will see a lot of things that need to be put in place in your business.
Stop wasting your precious time thinking about innovation.
So many people are ahead of you.
Steal from them and be creative with it.
