This is one of the most beautiful images from the World Cup. Marc Cucurella celebrates the title with his son Mateo, who has autism.

Mateo is usually unable to attend his father's matches because the noise inside stadiums overwhelms him. Marc promised that he would only bring Mateo to the stadium if Spain reached the final. And they did. He arranged for Mateo to watch the match from a soundproof VIP box, where he could safely see his father become a world champion. After the final whistle, Marc took him onto the pitch to lift the World Cup trophy together.

Mateo, a champion too. ❤️
