In Game 2 today, the Miami Stingrays defeated the Crush by a score of 7-1. Destiney Ortega threw 3 scoreless and hitless innings, striking out 8 to earn the win in dominant fashion💪 Sierra Sterling earned the save, pitching 2 innings, striking out 4. The offense was led by Taylor Rebhan who went 2-3 with a double, and Destiney Ortega also added two hits. Jas Armenteros also had a double, and Lani Gonzalez, Gaby Perez, and Jianna Bustamante each added a hit. The Stingrays play tomorrow at 11:30am and 3:00pm.

The Miami Stingrays defeated Rock Gold Manetta 18U Premier by a score of 6-2 in their opening game of the Rock Elite SE Qualifier this morning. Erin Zambrano pitched 4 innings striking out 5 to earn the victory and Sierra Sterling got the save. Layla Ortiz got the scoring started in the bottom of the second with an RBI single. Caylee Cerda doubled in the bottom of the fourth, racking up 2 RBIs and Jas Armenteros picked up 2 RBIs in the same inning with a beautiful line drive to right field. Danbee Kim also had a hit and played stellar defense in the field to help secure the win 💪
