I have a background character that only appears in one scene but is mentioned a few times through out the story and I’m pretty sure her name has changed each time I mention her 😂

Feeling stuck in my WIP so I went back to the beginning to get a feel for how I started the book only to realize that the first chapter was written in 3rd person and the rest of the book (19 chapters) is in first person 😂

It’s been a year since I self published my first book and I’m reading it through as I’ve decided to offer physical copies — there are lots of mistakes that need to be changed now that I’m seeing it with fresh eyes once more 🤔 #Editing

@LouiseHazeldine I’m somewhere in the middle when it comes to this, my first published book essentially got no sales, and while I still plan on finishing the series because I’m like you where it’s stuck in my head, I also have other ideas that are calling to me at the same time

Trying something new for the last couple days — I’m writing out my scenes by hand first before I type them up and so far it’s working well — I’ll write it out while watching tv or doing things around the house and when I go to type it out it feels easier to expand on in detail :)

Now that it’s the last day of the month, it’s time to set new goals for April :) I’d love to get my rough draft finished, but I’d be just as happy to complete my word goal of 30,000 words :) #WritingGoals #Writing
