Federal, state, and local agencies continue working tirelessly to combat the fire. Conditions are currently not impacting motorists and roads remain open at this time. However, drivers in the area are urged to use caution.

A wildfire is burning south of US-41, spanning over 2,500 acres. Multiple agencies are deploying aerial resources to drop water and protect structures in the area.
