@NSWTeacherGuy @sallymcmanus @AlboMP So my question was, when a good investment is made and is turning a profit, should the investor have to pay tax on that profit? Because if you make a good investment, surely the tax system isn't entitled to benefit from an investor's hard work.

I grew up with nothing, was handed nothing. Tried to build something to pass on to my children and - gearing made it viable, barely.

Is your hesitance because of an intolerance you have for anyone who speaks languages other than English or are you really opposed to people learning, regardless of subject?
