I feel like if Trump appointed his former personal lawyer to the US Supreme Court and that same judge then extended voting by two hours on election day, leftists would not be describing it as "saving democracy."
Worst call of Trump II, by far, has been the failure to back DOGE resolutely, reinforce it with the FBI and intelligence services, pull Palantir into the fight, and use it as the crowbar to prise apart, defund, and roll up the entire progressive deep state.
Starshield is owned by the U.S. Government. Starlink is not approved for military weapons.
The fact that you’re a U.S. senator and didn’t know this is absolutely embarrassing.
I remember sitting around a campfire shortly after the Ukraine war had just started with some Ukrainian friends.
They shared that after they learned that Russian forces were jamming all communications they called Elon begging for Starlink support.
Elon and the Starlink team instantly dropped everything they were working on, loaded a private jet with as many Starlink terminals as they could (terminals were in short supply at the time), and started flying the jet eastward while writing code to make terminals work over Ukraine.
There was no contract or promise of payment for doing so, and no time to solve for that.
My Ukrainian friends believed this saved the nation of Ukraine, and that without this effort Ukraine would have lost the war nearly instantly.
@DanFriedman81 He would be better served smiling less, more of a stoic expression. Give him a new haircut, trim the eyebrows…basically very superficial changes.
He’s a bit more character actor than leading man, but not unattractive.
She clearly thinks too much of herself.
Elon donated thousands of Starlink terminals to Ukraine.
Elon gave Ukraine free service.
All Elon asked was don’t drone people.
They broke the rules and spit on the gift that was handed to them.
Receipts:
@jamiedupree Exactly.
Starlink’s terms have remained consistent as a civilian system, not a means of killing. Violation of those terms will result in end of service.
Starshield use is a decision of the US government.
End of story.
Ukraine hacked Starlink terminals to violate speed restrictions.
Starlink modified their software so the hack no longer worked.
Ukraine created the situation.
Fact: Ukraine got caught hacking Starlink to bypass controls they didn't like. The hacks got blocked. Starlink wasn't supposed to be used for military attack drones exceeding 160 kilometers/hour of speed.
Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.
November decides whether the gavel stays a tool or becomes a weapon. Builders versus the machine that hates them. Choose. We side with Elon who still builds, fights, and keeps the Constitution.https://t.co/v6OTDelV8c
@Rothmus Those who are opposed to corporations and favor government do not realize that government is simply the largest, most monopolistic corporation of all and it has a monopoly on violence.
This deserves far more attention.
@KenPaxtonTX publicly offered to withdraw from the U.S. Senate race if it meant getting the #SAVEAmerica Act passed.
For Texans, that’s putting election integrity ahead of personal political ambition.
A powerful statement of priorities.
@SomeBitchIIKnow In a contest between a cute Applebee’s waitress who laughs at his jokes, and a woman with a high status career who is disagreeable, it’s Applebees every time.
