@RealMichaelKay The Intentional Balk. My son’s idea (you met him in Yorktown) 4 pitches more than a foot outside = intentional walk = balk advancing all runners, which defeats the purpose of an IBB.

@RealMichaelKay my son’s idea for intentional walks: if someone throws four balls more than a foot outside the zone, it’s a balk — all runners advance and batter gets second base. Obviously no more 4 fingers. (Yorktown Michael)

@nkolakowski I can second that emotion! My latest, The Silk Factory, has garnered not just praise (which is nice) but actual connections with people for whom it resonated. It’s been the most rewarding experience of my professional life!

We think we know our history, but we don’t really—not all of it. So said one of the people at the talk I gave in Pau last week, and it’s as true for my personal story as it is for entire peoples. You can get my book here if you haven't https://t.co/qwaaGJVTd7

It’s amazing to help people remember their own history, especially when it coincides with mine! Which proves that we all connect through and share a common history. Find out more and buy my book!
