this morning i walked past an older gentleman sitting in the shade on 34th Street, he was dressed not of this time and had with him the coolest looking polaroid camera i’ve ever seen - undeniable swag.

so i took his picture. he approved. i googled him. it turns out he’s kind of a big deal. he’s photographed Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Denzel Washington…
