@Dr_BellaR She wasn’t laughing at his death. She was questioning, the book, the tour of their house in all the papers, the documentary all within minutes of his death. Her delivery might be crass, but she isn’t the only one on X that has highlighted this.
No matter your politics, it should appall you that the media outlets which claim to care the most about "misinformation" suppressed coverage of South Africa's case against the Gaza genocide, but fully covered Israel's defense the next day—intentionally denying you the full story.
@thequentinletts And right there is all that is wrong with the NHS. Hate on me all you like I worked in NHS for 20 years and now am an unpaid carer for my husband these issues were around then, now they are endemic.
I hope this is accurate. It could be the catalyst for a generational change in UK politics.
Jeremy Corbyn tipped to launch 'new political party' ahead of General Election https://t.co/aj1L1casqO
They threw the couple on the left to the wolves to keep the sins of those on the right in the shadows. Whenever you see the ramp up of hate against the Sussexes, you can always bet it’s to distract from the acts of moral turpitude by those on the right.
Memo to Sunak - our country can't wait until 'the second half of this year' for a general election, purely because you're terrified of a thumping defeat. Our economy is on its knees, public services have been decimated, the climate is in crisis - we need a general election NOW.
@Dr_BellaR What does this post actually mean? There are millions of people on zero hours contracts/ minimum wage workers with families living in worse/same conditions. They can’t strike it’s just not an option. Your situation can and will improve, theirs will not.
@DoctorPerin Back in the day 70/80s depression was either exogenous or endogenous.(yes there were subtypes) Endogenous arising from within without any external causation. Often with an intensity that bordered on psychotic. Responded 100% to medication and usually voluntary in-patient care.
Alan Bates turned down an OBE as Paula Vennells, the woman in charge of the Post Office through the Horizon Scandal, retains her CBE and refuses to give it back.
A man of honour 🙏🏼❤️

Alan, 69: “The first thing that sprang to my mind while reading the letter (offering me an OBE) was Paula Vennells still had a CBE. I felt so deeply insulted. She presided over a policy of harassing hundreds of innocent people. It’s not just that the Government hasn’t asked her to return it. What’s even worse is that despite knowing the strength of feeling about it, how people have suffered and some cases died on her watch – she doesn’t feel inclined to give it back.”
Alan accepted a @PrideOfBritain award in 2023.
We were over the moon to give that to him.
Not all heros wear capes 💜
