@Thehiddenstorm0 He helped Naruto refine his chakra control. It obviously helped a considerable amount since it was a 2v1 instead of a 3v1 against Kakashi. We literally saw first hand that Jiraya had Naruto work on his strengths and learn how to hide better (probably learned that from peeping)
