Just heard that my favorite theater, the Landmark on Pico, is closing. That place meant a lot to me... I remember sitting in the audience hearing @rianjohnson talk after a Knives Out screening, and I think he talked about loving that place too as a young filmmaker in LA

TV characters brush off runaway horses too easily. Literally a car and a pet lost at the same time. If my CAR and my CAT ran away on their OWN, I would probably never recover, but TV characters just shout "Bessie, no!" and then move on like it's nothing...
