My grade1s @MillgroveSchool loved their 2nd salad day. Lettuce came from our @TowerGarden & we sauteed swiss chard from our garden as well. Then the kids used @Seesaw to document their salad. What a great lunch! #psd70green #psd70 @TDFEF @littlegrnthumbs

My #grade1 @MillgroveSchool with our #grade4 buddies did a @WonderWorkshop dash balloon pop challenge. Blockly app to code Dash down a path to pop the balloon. Great problem solving & perseverance went on. At the end we had POPS! https://t.co/0iwwhGAsND #psd70 #codingforkids

@MicheleDechman @MillgroveSchool @WonderWorkshop I used pencils, which was a challenge because sometimes the pencil wasn’t sharp enough so the kids had to work through that problem, and I also used wooden shish kebab skewers we found at the dollar store.

My grade1s @MillgroveSchool LOVED @WonderWorkshop dash coding challenge. They had to mount a "popping" device to dash and then code him to move towards the balloon in order to pop the balloon. LOTS of problem solving and excitement during this activity #psd70 #robots #Coding

Very proud of my archers @MillgroveSchool we had 60 kids from gr3 to gr5 compete at the @NASP2002 Alberta Provincials and we received 2nd overall in the Elementary Aged Division. It was a great way to end the archery season #psd70 #boatandsportsmanshow #archery #nasp

@vrestechnology @MillgroveSchool @WonderWorkshop Yes, and then each time they were successful I moved their starting position to a new area so they had to re-measure and change their code. For some groups I had them weave dash through cups and then pop the balloon, to add a extra challenge.

The chicks are almost ready to hatch @MillgroveSchool. My grade 1's have been learning lots about chick embryo development and are very excited for the hatch date this coming Monday! #psd70 #grade1 #chickens
