This week, I met with H.E. Robert Tinline, British High Commissioner to Canada to discuss overall Canada-UK relations. Here is the readout of our meeting:

Palestinian representatives met with the Canadian Museum for Human Rights during the development of its upcoming Nakba exhibit.
This should be a Canadian museum for a Canadian perspective on human rights, not foreign agendas.
I asked the minister for his position.

Canada mourns the loss of Constable Marc Pinizotto.
Unfortunately, his death is not an isolated incident.
Shootings at synagogues, businesses & the U.S. Consulate.
A warrant executed relating to the shootings at a synagogue & the U.S. Consulate.
A U.S. indictment linking these shootings to an IRGC-backed terrorist network.
Public safety is now a national security matter.
Canadians deserve answers.

The govât insisted for weeks that strong measures are in place to stop goods made with forced labour from entering Canada.
I ask, If thatâs true, why introduce a bill titled, âAn Act respecting the prohibition of the importation of goods produced by forced labour"?
#cdnpoli
In recent weeks, the Prime Minister has said strong measures are in place to stop goods made with forced labour from entering Canada.
If thatâs true, why is the government introducing this bill?

A year ago, the government said dozens of senior Iranian officials are here in Canada who should be deported.
In the last year exactly *one* has been deported.
When will the government treat foreign interference threats seriously & protect our Persian community?

Canada is in a recession.
But this is the lesser of our economic problems.
Per capita GDP, productivity & business capital investment all have flatlined or declined in recent years - and that has continued during the last 12 months of the Carney government.

The more things change, the more they stay the same with a Liberal government this week.
New committee on antisemitism to replace the old special envoy on antisemitism.
Appeal of the CRTC decision to undo changes the government wanted under the Online Streaming Act, a decision the government was defending till this week.
Extended QCJO consultations, because the subsidies werenât enough and more time is needed to figure out how to double down on that approach.
Grocery rebate out the door, because the government did a rebate in 2023 and itâs out of ideas.
Itâs all so retro and status quo.
Is this what âmeet the momentâ looks like?
