@MarkESkywalker@ConorGogarty I agree. Such a personal attack on an individual candidate 1 week before the election, using material that's been in the public domain for months is very suspicious @WalesOnline
100s of people out enjoying the sun today around #VictoriaPark@cardiffcouncil soooo many kids in the park breathing this toxic air today (including mine). Please rethink your decision that it's too expensive to monitor air quality across #Cardiff kids lives are worth the money.
I and other concerned residents of Cardiff are down at County Hall and Silurian Park witnessing the mass destruction of hedgerows and mature planting commissioned by this Labour Council in bird nesting season and amid a nature and climate crisis. This is the tip of the iceberg.
It's the 🏆#CalamityCup🏆 FINAL! The people of #Cardiff have chosen two of the Council's worst moves. But which is the greatest calamity of all? 🌳#NorthernMeadows🌳 destruction? OR the Museum of Medical Military History? Please vote and RT!
😄Our amazing @CardiffSave#CommonGround candidates who made it up the mountain!
🌅Up before dawn, showing their dedication to deliver the change Cardiff needs.
We booked ad space on Wellfield / Albany Rd junction for 4 weeks leading up to this council election - our posters went up on Monday - today they've been covered up after councillors leant on the ad bookers.
@PlaidCymru@WalesGreenParty#CommonGround
It's the second semi final of the #CalamityCup! Which is worst action by Cardiff Labour? Promoting a military museum in a children’s park OR giving up on securing homes for working class families in private city centre apartments? Vote and RT!
An enjoyable break from election campaigning yesterday at a #CommonGround social in Grangetown. Great to catch up with candidates and activists from across Cardiff, @WalesGreenHelen@RhysOwenThomas and visiting Green Party co-leader @AdrianRamsay
Forget the Prem! Today's big face off is between two of Cardiff Labour's epic fails! Which is worst? Its go-ahead for destruction of 100s of trees at #NorthernMeadows or its disdain for the #CoalExchange and the city's history and culture? Read the thread, vote and RT!
Thanks to Westy for this & for permission to post it. He has a fair few things to say on the Council Elections, Cardiff Labour & its record in Grangetown - words that will chime with others across the city no doubt #WestySays#LabourOut
It’s Saturday and and it’s a massive match in today’s #CalamityCup. Which is Cardiff Labour’s worst calamity: promoting a military museum in a children’s park or allowing toxic waste to poor into the Ely River? Check out the thread below for the info, cast your vote & RT!
*splutter! The tone here is that Parc Radyr has been neglected because R&M hasn’t voted Labour. That’s pork barrel politics writ large. We have even been to see Cardiff Council as private citizens and absolutely nothing was done. Time for change - vote #Radha4Radyr
@cardiffcouncil and @huwthomas_Wales have an awful record on protecting the environment in Cardiff. Have your say on the worst of their decisions in the quarter finals of the #CalamityCup
We're in the Quarter-Finals of the 🏆#CalamityCup🏆 with another match-up for title of Cardiff Labour's biggest calamity. Today it's trees being cut down for deluxe apartments v inaction on threats to the city's nature. Check out the🧵below for the info, cast your vote & RT!
@FrancoisOlwage We don't oppose nuclear, we just don't want any new nuclear sites being built. We have enough renewable energy potential to be a net energy producer without the need for more power stations.
