Amongst bracelets that carry the names of my children, one which carries the number 52525, commemorating the date, in American form, of my first Indy 500 call. It is my honour to carry the responsibility of calling this great race. One I hold with humility, gratitude and respect.
#CarbDay morning update: no changes to what I posted last night. Think we’re ok for practice, but might see some yellows at times for drops/sprinkles given the moistening environment. #Wienie500 on cusp of rain arrival. Will monitor radar and update where needed. #Indy500
Watching Brexton and @KyleBusch play with their cars is so heartwarming.
Kyle and @SamanthaBusch sit down with @kaitlynvincie to talk about family and quality time away from the track.
#RaceDay
#CarbDay: it still looks close but think we sneak practice in. May see yellows for drops/sprinkles. #Wienie500 chance runs wet. Rest of PM, rainy. No update to Sat (AM wet, then dry) or Sun (still PM storm chance). Will post update early Fri AM..then we shift focus to #Indy500
On the Off Track With Hinch & Rossi podcast, Alexander Rossi said his injury was to a small bone in his right ankle and to keep the swelling down, they put the boot on him for a couple of days but it will come off today and he should be good to go. @IndyCarOnFOX
THIS HELMET COULD BE YOURS. LITERALLY.
The original race-used BLACKLINE Helmet worn by Alex Palou at the 2026 Sonsio Grand Prix.
It’s going up for auction. And the way we’re selling it is unusual.
HOW IT WORKS
It’s a Dutch auction. That means the price goes down, not up.
* It starts at $100,000.
* Every minute, it drops.
* The first person to say “yes” gets it. The auction ends right there. No bidding war. No second place.
It opens Thursday at 10:00 AM EST. It runs until Saturday, when the price hits $1 — or until someone buys it. Whichever comes first.
All proceeds from the BLACKLINE Helmet auction will be donated to the Riley Children’s Foundation.
