Im grateful that I get to work with amazing students who are willing to help me learn from my mistakes. We are growing as a lab. It is a rough process to retract a paper, and many often choose not to. We felt the right thing to do for science was to fix our mistake and move on.

One of the most challenging things to do as a scientist is to admit you were wrong and correct your mistake. We recently had to retract a work based on miss assigning our products. In retrospect, it is easy for us and others to see where we went wrong.
