🟠UPDATE on the Austin ICE shooting.

They keep saying he was a legal immigrant with a work permit. That’s the line Talarico and Casar ran with.

He came in through CBP One in 2024. That’s the Biden app. You book a slot, you get inspected at the port, you get released to wait on asylum. That is not a green card.

His lawyer now says a hearing notice went to an old address, he missed court, and a judge put a removal order on him. DHS said the same thing Sunday night. Final order. ICE ran the plate.

PSL posted “ICE OUT OF AUSTIN NOW” at 4:19. Austin DSA called a “spontaneous” vigil for 5. The shooting was around 1.

Then somebody painted “Kill Donald Trump” on the pillar next to “Talarico Love Wins.” Crews rolled paint over it the next morning.

A judge parked the deportation until Sept 30. Fine. Drop the stop video. Until then it is simple. He had an order. ICE showed up.

🟠 Sunday in North Austin ICE shot a 28-year-old DoorDash driver named Wilber Garcés Pérez.

Two stories. Agents say they flagged his car, identified themselves, and he took off. He says an unmarked SUV rammed him, he tried to pull over, and they shot him in the back after the car stopped. He’s in ICE custody with the bullet still in him. Nobody’s released the stop video.

Then this shows up at the same pillar.

Masked guy tagging “Kill Donald Trump.” Same wall as the ICE slurs and the Epstein stuff. Crews were painting over it the next morning.

Argue the shooting. Fine. Two accounts and no tape yet.

But don’t act like writing a hit on the president is just another protest sign....
