In Vietnam’s northern central highlands, the Sohdrah people maintain their traditional language and customs in villages mixing ancestral bamboo huts with modern government buildings. At 81, elders still climb mountain paths daily to tend rice fields and cook for their families.

I recently spent some time on the Mekong documenting the life of river traders.

This way of life is slowly disappearing, with modern infrastructure and influences erode the need for river transport.

I’ve just wrapped up my first day in the Philippines. I’m staying in Tondo,Manila not particularly one of the nicer parts of the country, but these streets are filled with incredible stories.
