I am recruiting for my research.
Are you between the ages of 18-65 and have been discharged from an acute inpatient mental health ward in England in the past 2 years?
If you would like to take part in my research and talk about your experiences, email: [email protected]#DClin
For all the people who did not get interviews this year on the #DClinpsy, this is not a reflection of your worth!
Advice that I wish I took sooner was to not let getting getting on the DClin dictate your life. The less power you give it, the more power you have!
8. Chavs. Brilliant read on the impact of social stigma of being working class and how everyday subtle and not so subtle language perpetuates many of the problems in our society today.
2023 I set myself the challenge of reading 1 book a month. Here are the books I read.
1. @JDaviesPhD sedated. Incredible read and would definitely recommend to anyone. Definitely changed my perspective on things and be more critical of things, particularly when on the #dclinpsy
Thank you to everyone at Forest Lodge and @SHSCFT! It has been the best nearly 3 years. Such a compassionate and supportive team to have been a part of. I am very lucky to have had the opportunity, now onto #dclinpsy
All the best to those writing their DClin applications! It took me multiple years without any interviews to finally get a place.
Not getting any interviews or accepted onto a course is not a reflection of your worth!

@amberlouise0303 I am learning welsh on duolingo 😊 it’s good, however I’d suggest lessons if possible. I did my marriage vows in welsh this year and having help from lessons was incredibly helpful! Good luck on your DClinPsy course!
@rebeccarichpsy I have found it easier to get interviews for AP posts.
The interview experience got easier for me as my confidence grew. However, the rejections I experienced were from the smallest details rather than experience. Such as, this person answered this question differently to you.
